We care about kids – all of them. Not just those who need a safe and fun place to go after school but those who never had a safe and fun place to go. We provide an ear to hear and a heart that cares. We provide the praise they never got and the patience they never experienced. We let them know they are not alone. And that creates a ripple throughout our community that ultimately reaches everyone. Our challenge and our opportunity is to ensure all kids are given a chance to realize their potential.

You can make a ripple and help us meet that challenge by making a contribution to the Create a Ripple Capital Campaign. We will gratefully accept gifts of cash as well as securities, property, and gifts-in-kind, with receipts provided for assessed value. Pledges can be made annually over five years. Donations to the campaign provide an annual tax credit of up to 75% of taxable income. Gifts exceeding this amount can be carried forward for up to five years.

Major donors to the Create A Ripple Campaign will receive special recognition for their gift. For gifts of $25,000 or more, a number of opportunities exist to name buildings, rooms, vehicles, trails, activity areas and endowments in honour of the donor or someone the donor wishes to recognize. Major donors will be invited to select events and receive media recognition where appropriate.

* Banfield Centre was a three-story building in VicWest owned by the Boys & Girls Club Foundation. A change in the focus of the primary program operating at Banfield, as well as funding cuts to other programs, prompted the decision to sell the property. The sale allowed us to make a substantial contribution towards the acquisition of the camp property, further demonstrating the Board's commitment to realizing our vision for the camp.
